Aquasana AQ-4215 undercounter filter combination with shower filter is our latest purchase. We were reading an article about the effects of chlorine in water when you take a shower. We had no idea that chlorine when heated (such as showering) can have such a harmful effect on you. When you stop to think about it, your skin has such a large area of absorbs ion that it makes sense once you start thinking about it. Chlorine gas is what occurs when chlorine is heated and becomes airborne little particles. Anyway that issue is solved now with our new shower filter!

We purchased a “combo” kit from Better Water Store where you get a better deal when you buy the kitchen filter along with the shower filter.  Installation was quick and I must say pretty easy. We had both systems up in about 45 minutes. Instructions were provided and they even had video instructions on the web site.  Both of the items are top rated, in fact have won the Consumer Digest “Best Buy” award many times. Cost of the filtered water per gallon for the kitchen unit amounts to 9 cents a gallon after all of the cost of purchasing. I’d say a pretty good bargain!
