Wondering where to find an Italian Cypress? In the past, it was somewhat difficult to find a bonsai. However, because of their increased popularity, today, you can find bonsai at many places, including gardening centers, nurseries, and even department stories. However, these bonsai are often only starter bonsai and not true bonsai trees. For specialty bonsai, you may have to look online bonsai store or seek out shops that deal only in bonsai trees. It can be very difficult in some areas to find rare bonsai like the Italian Cypress, especially in areas where bonsai do not typically flourish.

My young daughter needed to find an environmental project for fifth grade class and her suggestion was to stop using bottled water. Unfortunately, we live in a community where the water tastes bad, so I told her that wasn’t an option. However, my precocious child had already done her homework, and suggested that we could buy a affordable countertop water filter to make the tap water easier to drink. In fact, she had been saving money from her allowance, and offered to pay for it as part of her project. How could I say no? It was a good cause and something she really believed in.

The next day we went to our local home improvement store and spoke with a sales associate who made a recommendation for a countertop water filter that wasn’t too expensive and could be easily installed. My daughter was ecstatic and couldn’t wait to get it home. Sure enough, the model we bought (Aquasana AQ-4000) was very easy to set up. My daughter did most of the work herself. When we got it up and running, I was amazed and pleased that it made a big difference in how our water tasted. In fact, I was wondering why I didn’t buy one of these years ago.
