Very often I’m struck by how some dog clothes look very much like horse blankets. Particularly when they’re displayed hanging from what looks like a clothes line. Well, please take a close look at this fabulously designed halter-cut dog dress in red/red. It’s called the Candy Cane Formal Dog Dress and features a satin bow with rhinestone buckle. It’s made of organza with underlay in tulle. And bodice fully lined in satin. If this is not upmarket dog fashion, I don’t know what is.

But note the cut and style. It’s just immaculate and could have been made-to-measure for a beautiful young lady. But, then, when you see the little Yorkshire terrier wearing it, you know it was. When these dog designers get it right, I sometimes think unbelievingly, “This is dogswear?” But then I know it is.

Closure is velcro at neck and chest. And they haven’t forgotten the important D-ring. Made in Organza. One color; red/red. Feel like half an hour of therapeutic online window-shopping? Click on over to Dog Formal Dress Collection.

If you have a small dog, and they stay indoors with you then they most likely want to get on the furniture with you. While this is not a problem if you don’t mind that sort of thing, it could wind up costing you your dogs joint health in the long run. That is why a product like this 4 step pet stair is a wise purchase to make. It is a light weight foam stair for your dog. You can select up to 4 different fabric covers for aesthetic appeal. It comes with a standard beige shearling cover and the other 4 are for personal taste and to have a backup cover in case the beige cover gets damaged. The 4 step is made for smaller dogs.

Pet stairs are a great idea as it is not uncommon for dogs to develop hip dysplasia where the joints become inflamed and sore limiting mobility. The good thing is that the product is attractive and makes a nice furniture accessory. The covers are machine washable and each stair comes with adhesive skid resistant pads you can apply. This is in case you want to set it in a permanent place such as a stone or wood floor and not move it again. Your dogs joints will thank you.
