I remember my mom’s kitchen can opener – she had purchased it in brown to match the brown refrigerator she had. It had a knife sharpener in the back, though I don’t recall the knife sharpener ever working very well on it. It was a long time ago and it was a rather clunky looking gadget that never seemed to know where it belonged on the kitchen counter. It ended up being parked near the stove and unfortunately it became a bit rusty and coated with kitchen grease over the years. Luckily can openers have come a long way since back then, and this Ergo Cordless Can Opener is by far one of my favorites.
